My wife and I have been purging our yard of some excess shrubs. A little bit of gas and you get that is the photo below. I like the whoomp sound it makes. apparently so does my 2 y/o son. “daddy do it again!!!” yea, no your mothers coming. I can;t do it again.
It was nice night. Nice and warm, the kids were riding their bike and playing soccer until it was too dark to see. Tonight? chance of snow. WTF.

What amazes me is that the ALL TIME high up there is something very close to 70. Maybe 72.

I’ve never it understood the obsession with burning things in your yard. My neighbors used to do it twice/week. Eventually, there would basically be nothing left on their property to burn. If it’s just sticks and bushes, why not just compost it?
This opinion comes from an asthma sufferer who lived upwind of these shenanigans for 18+ years.

its fun. i compost the leaves and grass clippings. I only do it like once or twice a month. there is enough stuff that i’d have to get it to the town’s compost pile because i’d run out of room.

Upwind? No p roblem!
Perhaps you meant downwind ? If so, I can see why you would be frustrated. We are friends with a couple whose son has SMA. Smoke is really hard on him because he has an allergies and has extreme difficulty coughing up the phloem .
They eventually moved to another city that has laws against burning leaves and trash in the yard.

Er yeah, I meant downwind. My brain got all reversed because we were UPHILL.
Yeah, it was ultra frustrating. Having to leave my window closed at night because they were on a 12 hour burnathon in humid-midsummer was horrible.
